Before you buy print shop equipment: what to check
Laminators, binders and cutters run all day in a busy print shop, so build quality matters more than the lowest price.
Match the size to your work. A4 or A3 laminating, how many sheets a binder punches at once, and how thick a stack a cutter takes.
Prefer metal over plastic for daily use. Heavier, metal-bodied machines last longer under constant use.
Check that supplies are easy to buy. Laminating pouches, binding combs and wires, and cutter blades are ongoing purchases.
Ask about the warranty and spare parts. Especially for electric cutters and hot laminators.
