Before you buy printing supplies: what to check
Cheap ink, film and powder can clog print heads or ruin transfers, and a print head costs far more than the supplies you saved on.
Match the supplies to your machine. Check the ink type your printer needs (DTF, eco-solvent or sublimation are not interchangeable) and the film or paper width it takes.
Compare the price per litre, kilo or sheet. Pack sizes vary a lot. Divide the price by the volume or sheet count before deciding what's cheap.
Buy from a seller who knows the product. Ask which printers their customers use it in, and whether they'll exchange a bad batch.
Test before you stock up. Try a small pack first. Switching ink brands can need a print head clean and new colour settings.
Store it properly. Keep ink sealed and out of the sun, powder dry and film flat. Old or badly stored supplies cause most transfer problems.
